About our Founder…

Linda Kanoski is the Founding Principal of Ellipsis Design Group, a client-centered architecture studio that turns complex projects into clear, well-built places. A licensed architect with 30+ years of experience, Linda is known for listening deeply, mentoring boldly, and building teams that deliver thoughtful workplaces for organizations including McDonald’s, Ace Hardware, Abbott, MillerCoors, Motorola Solutions, Amazon, and Accenture.

Her background spans leadership roles at Gensler and HOK, as well as client service with CBRE. She earned Master’s degree from Northwestern University and a Bachelor’s from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.

Based in Seattle, Linda has been active with CREW for more than a decade and serves on the CREW Seattle Board of Directors. She supports the Seattle 2030 District, Habitat for Humanity’s Women Build, The Goldie Initiative, and the American Cancer Society’s Taste of Hope. She has taught Project & Construction Management in Roosevelt University’s Master of Real Estate program.
